Additionally, the existing three-bedroom apartment was transformed into a spacious five-bedroom unit by finishing the basement. Our client reached out to us for ADU consulting services with the goal of generating income from the basement of their beautiful century home in Ottawa’s vibrant Glebe neighbourhood. We guided them through the permitting process and connected them with a trusted contractor from our network, who transformed the unfinished basement into a spacious 2-bedroom apartment. The fully equipped unit features a private walkout entrance, a stylish and functional kitchen, a 4-piece bathroom with heated tile floors, in-suite laundry, ample closet and storage space, and a sleek, modern trim package.
